April 15, 2007 - California or Bust: Westward Ho

After nearly two weeks of upgrades and repairs on the bus, we're packing up to go back out into the highways and byways to compel the lost to come into the Kingdom of God.  We're doing that because that's what Jesus asked His disciples to do. (Please read your Bible.) We do not know where exactly  we're going to end up and we believe that the Lord will lead us step by step, but we do know that this voyage will be a thrilling one!  Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, we've received a few letters from people around the country asking us why we are preaching the Gospel in the USA?  "After all", they say, "the US is the most Christian country in the world."  We suppose anyone who might say something like that must either have their blinders on or their head somehow got stuck in the sand.  Have you looked around at what is happening on the streets of American cities?  Or in the schools?  What once was a country of Bible-believing people has somehow turned into a country full of selfish-minded people looking out for No. 1.  And is that a bad thing?  What do YOU think? OK, we know that not everyone falls into that category, but to NOT see the reality of what continues to happen in our cities and on our streets is naive.  There are MILLIONS out there who need Jesus.  Will you help us reach them?  We need you.

About God's supply: We met Jimmy a couple of months ago and he just donated several deep cell batteries and other electric needs to help us continue the progress on the bus.  Meanwhile, our mechanic, Willis, rebuilt the fuel injector system, put on an new muffler and tail pipe and fixed the radiator.   Blast off time:  Late Tonight.  Thanks for your prayers!!!
